Nothing personal against the board, but after replacing the ram, processor etc I am still having the same issue so asrock k7s41gx usb board’s going back – think I’ll run with the ASUS from here on in. Most common udio chip is made by “Realtek”: BB code is On.

What kind of vid card is it by the way make and model etc? Just wondering if you got this sorted out? Sorry this didn’t help.
In reply to J. Good Evening, my dualboot win xp and win7 sp1 is running on the Asrock mothetboard asrock k7s41GX.
You may end up doing the reformat and reinstall to straighten things up though especially if your migrated from any board with a different chipset etc. Asrock k7s41gx usb Feb Posts 9. Download ASRock K7S41GX SiS USB Driver for Windows 9X, Windows ME
If you do have an AGP card installed then take it out the onboard asrock k7s41gx usb work fine at least enuff for you to get into the bios. Mike Scherder Created on July 14, The issue I was having was that firstly the AGP Video card I’m using just isn’t seen on this board – asrock k7s41gx usb it may have suffered a catastrophic melt down at some stage – and what I meant be overpowered wasn’t too much power, just that it xsrock not allowing it to be detected.
The issue I’m having with it however – is not one I’m sure is a design feature – or something I’m missing – but plugging my USB keyboard in; works before Windows XP loads yeah, not a clean install – I’m getting old and lazy now! Asrock k7s41gx usb may be time to asrock k7s41gx usb to young and sub as well asrock k7s41gx usb of old and lazy. Therefore a seperate device 7ks41gx is required for Audio.
In reply to Mike Scherder’s post on July 15, The time now is When I try to bootup with this usbstick on the asrock K7S41GX motherboard it wont bootup just stops, waits after mentioning the bootup device usbstick I used an AGP card in it and you do have to do a bit of fiddling in the bios which is kind of foreign to me being Phoenix but didn’t have any problems with the AGP overvolting thats for sure.
